# Can a snowflake PII tag can be inherited into subsequent models in dbt

## The problem I’m having

I need to inherit the PII tag specified to columns in my snowflake source table to my models created in dbt

## The context of why I’m trying to do this

Inherit the PII tags automatically to the downstream models if the source in snowflake has a PII tag
