Database Timeout expired while trying to setup DBT Developer

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else ran into this issue where the database times out while trying to setup DBT Developer? Both of my DBT Cloud database connections never timeout when running my jobs so I find it confusing that it would timeout while trying to set up DBT Developer.

Does anyone know what the issue might be?

My initial suspicion is that the IP address of where Developer is running from is different than the IP address of the DBT Cloud jobs and may need to be added to the firewall of my database.


Hey @chanwd - sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this! I think it’s related to an issue on dbt Cloud’s end when connections are created with SSH tunnels.
