I am a total newbie, one week reading about dbt.

The problem I’m having is learning my way around the different models.

The context of why I’m trying to do this is I have connected to BigQuery and have read all of my needed data. Just for a proof of concept, I want to create a new table that is a result of a query from the data I have read.

I understand the concept of the schema.yml files.

Is there a good reference for this level of training need?
