# Semantic layer enablement in production

I’m trying to enable the dbt semantic layer in my prod environment in a project but it keeps telling me that I can’t do that because my metrics package needs to be higher than 0.3.2.

The thing is that I have the 1.4 version of the package and when running jobs it is stated like that in the log of the dbt deps execution so I am not understanding well what I’m missing.

Any help on this configuration is welcome 🙂

In addition to updating the `packages.yml` file, you also need to have [completed a production run](https://docs.getdbt.com/docs/use-dbt-semantic-layer/quickstart-semantic-layer#run-your-production-job), is it possible that your most recent successful run still used v0.3.2 of the metrics package?
