context of a team license for DBT

Hello,

I’d appreciate it if you could clarify the following in the context of a team license for dbt:

Is the team license structured as 8 developer seats and 5 read-only seats, or is it 5 read-only seats combined with 3 developer seats to make a total of 8 developer seats?

Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @obille

For dbt Clound, the Team package can have the following:

  • Up to 8 developer seats
  • 5 read-only seats
  • Please note, that IT seats are limited to 1 seat per Team or Enterprise account.

The way the document is presented, I think it is safe to say it’s structured as 1 IT, 8 developers, and 5 read-only licenses upon purchase.

We require your confirmation and clarification regarding the Team license mentioned.

Does the license include:

Up to 8 developer seats + 5 read only seats +1 IT seat =14 seats

or

Up to 8 developer seats(which includes 5 read only seats) + 1 IT seat= 9 seats

With the package you have described, your team can have the following:

  • Maximum of 8 developer licenses. ($100/PER DEVELOPER SEAT PER MONTH )
  • 5 read-only licenses
  • 1 IT license

Total Licenses: 14
