I would also like to suggest @tlapiana’s talk at DataEngConf NYC 2018 titled “How Data Teams Do More With Less By Adopting Software Engineering Best Practices.” He outlines how dbt and dbt docs have been a core part of the GitLab Data Team’s ability to scale knowledge within the organization, among other cool things about our workflow.

Admittedly, I’m biased because he’s a coworker of mine, but I think the talk is definitely worth a watch!
